And stars falling from the sky

As we have seen, with the opening of the first 4 seals, the riders are released, but they are still held.
This becomes clear when opening the 5th seal, because there complain the executed, that it does not start yet.

Rev 6,9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

However, with the opening of the sixth seal, something happens that is noticeable on Earth.

Rev, 6,12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

The 7th seal is opened and 7 trumpets are distributed.

Rev.8,7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. 8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; Rev. 8,10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

Rev.8,12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

Now it is especially bad, because an eagle announces three woes over the earth, so the last 3 trumpets

Rev 9,1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

With all five trumpets, something falls from heaven to earth; Hail, fire blood, mountain, star, and the earth is darkened.

In the „Chronology and Contents of Revelation“ paper, we discussed that chapters 6 -11 and 12 – 19 happen at the same time and are only viewed from a different perspective. So if we relate Revelation Chapter 8 to Revelation Chapter 12, these appearances on Earth are the effects of war in heaven.

Rev.12,7 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, 8 but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

The first contraction begins here.

Rev.12,12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”

The same pictures are shown to us by Jesus in Mathäus 24,29 and by Joel 3,2 + 4.18
Luka 10,18 And he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

With the 5th trumpet blowing, the last star falls from the sky. It is Satan the Devil who is allowed to open the abyss.

Rev.9,2 He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft. 3 Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth.

The abyss is the prison of the demons who left their heavenly realm in Noah’s day and were locked up during the deluge. 1.Mos.6,1 + 2; 2.Petr.2,4 + 5; Juddas1,6

Rev.9,4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were allowed to torment them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings someone.

Rev. 9:12 The first woe has passed; behold, two woes are still to come.

We have this picture in the treatise "The Apocalyptic Riders" treated.

As we read in the episode of Revelation 9, one third of humanity is killed by the Great War of God, but that is the second woe not yet complete.
There are still 3 1/2 years left.
These 3 1/2 years or 42 months we consider in the treatise „The three and a half years“
